Our Story: Exodus & Legacy
The story began in 1980 with an exodus. My father, Paul, felt called to lead his young family out of the corporate, social, and religious establishment. Trading their four-year degrees for a self-sufficient farm life, he and my mother chose the wilderness to raise their children set apart. They only had the assurances of faith and hard work.
Photo taken at "Luke’s Landing" on the Delaware River—a campground the owners named after me as a birthright in honor of my father’s seven years as General Manager. It captures us 35 years later standing together at my namesake.
